Hi, I’m Christy — founder of TRIPLLLE – Language & Location Lessons.
As a Dutch-American language trainer, I’m passionate about helping people feel at home in a new country through language, confidence, and connection.
I was born and raised in the Netherlands in a Dutch-American bilingual family, growing up with both Dutch and English languages and cultures from an early age. Growing up in a multicultural environment sparked my interest in languages, communication, and cultural differences — something that continues to shape my work today.
Before founding TRIPLLLE, I worked in international and intercultural environments in the Netherlands, Germany, and the United States. Working in multinational teams and collaborating with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds gave me valuable insight into communication styles, workplace cultures, and the challenges of adapting to a new environment. Combined with my experience as a language trainer since 2011, this has given me a strong understanding of the practical and cultural challenges people may face when settling into life and work in a new country.
After living in the Netherlands for 41 years and moving abroad myself, I experienced firsthand how exciting — and sometimes overwhelming — it can feel to build a life in a new country. That personal experience is at the heart of TRIPLLLE.
In 2024, I founded TRIPLLLE – Language & Location Lessons to offer supportive, practical, and personalized Dutch lessons for expats and international professionals. Together with a small team of experienced native Dutch trainers, we focus on real-life communication — helping you feel more confident at work, in daily conversations, and in your new surroundings.
Because learning a language is about more than grammar — it’s about feeling at home.
